Little Maples Program Director/Preschool Teacher

Miss Shannon is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education Program at Langara College. She has taught Preschool in Richmond for the past sixteen years. Her dream of operating a Preschool of her own came true twelve years ago when Little Maples opened! Miss Shannon loves teaching Preschool. Her favorite activity to do with our Preschoolers is Art.

Preschool Teacher/After School Care Program Leader

Miss Shirley is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education Program at the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute. She has been in the field of early childhood education for the past ten years and part of the Little Maples team for the last seven years. She is passionate about working with preschool aged children and watching them grow to their full potential. Miss Shirley’s favorite activity with our Preschoolers is outdoor exploration and play time.

Preschool Teacher

Miss Stacey completed the Early Childhood Educators Assistant program at the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute. Miss Stacey has a background in social work as well as in the Delta School District as a school monitor. Miss Stacey joined our Teaching team at Little Maples six years ago. Miss Stacey’s favorite activity with our Preschoolers is reading with them.

Miss Caitlin

Preschool Teacher/After School Care Program Leader

Miss Caitlin is a graduate of the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute as an Early Childhood Educator. She has been working in the field since 2017. Caitlin grew up in a large, tight-knit family and is one of the oldest cousins - allowing her to care for little ones since she herself was a little one! When not working, you can find Caitlin reading or out in the sun with her dogs. She loves exploring the outdoors, colouring, and conducting experiments with the kids.

Miss Christina

After School Care Program Leader

Christina is from Richmond and is currently studying at Langara College in the nursing program and has completed the responsible adult course through the YMCA of greater Vancouver. She has been in the Childcare field, working with children of all ages, since she was in high school. Christina spends most of her time playing and coaching youth sports, plus studying! She loves to travel to other countries and try new foods.

Miss Heidi

Preschool Teacher

Miss Heidi is a graduate of Douglas College's Child and Youth Care counselling program. Heidi is a devoted Mother of three with a lifelong dedication to working with children. Her journey started as a youth worker at Summer day camps, progressing to supporting at risk youth and eventually teaching preschool at a Child Development Center. Heidi's favorite activity with the preschoolers is embarking on nature walks where they can discover treasures outdoors together.
